A New and Improved Clicker Links List

    • Gold Top Dog

Does anyone know why the link references here are not already part of the stickied Clicker Training link thread.?  Some of those sites have been out there for years and maybe one or two are new.  I mean its good that they're here and available now but in the stickied thread, all the OP's posts are blank and I am really baffled as to how and why that happened.  If that OP or a mod can look and let us know who did the editing and date, maybe we can glean from that as to what happened.

If you don't understand how the edit function works, PM a moderator and find out. If you don't like the links posted here because they "have been out there for years", then my suggestion is to do as Angelique and FIC did - go find some newer ones and post them.   Personally, I'd love to see other peoples' favorite clicker links.

No, I'm not - do you have one to add, or are you just stirring a pot?

Nope, just really amazed how many variations there are for something that is supposed to be so simple and easy....

    Moderator speaking,

This thread is I believe intended for LINKS....if you'd like to discuss the links or the method please take that to another thread.

Thanks Spiritdogs. As the human companion of a disabled dog (not to mention one who went through an incredibly LONG recovery after a major surgery), I'm always looking for some non-touch ways (for obvious reasons) to expand on the basics I learned in clicker training.

I think I'll copy these out and save them offline.

You're welcome.  And, don't worry if you lose them - I saved them offline, too. Smile

Man, now the people who make shepherd's hooks will be out of business. And what about those out of work cattle dogs?

    Big Smile

Just kidding. That was neat to watch. Thanks for sharing it.

Hey spirit. I don't know if I should have created a new thread or not. But you already did the work, and don't feel like relinking everything. But here are two channels I really like:

    1. tab289 Dog Training - YouTube

    2. Kikopup Clicker Dog Training - YouTube

I know you've probably visited kikoPup's channel, but what about tab's? His videos are some of the most well produced training videos I've come across. So well edited and organized with clear instructions.

I do like some of his stuff.  We use this one in our classes a lot for the people with adolescent dogs that didn't learn good bite inhibition and tend to be grabby with food: http://www.youtube.com/user/tab289#p/u/9/hUYAEhm8YiI

Damn.  Can you train people w/ a clicker?  I know a few who could sure use it.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Leonard Cecil's page

Maybe because we are so used to seeing it on FB;-))  But, yes, Leonard is a wealth of information and updates the links regularly.
