I know I can.
The walk is great but it will be with the behavior I find desirable. CM is the same, though we use different methods. I think that gets lost in the exercise, discipline, affection order. Even the exercise must be in the proper frame of mind. Otherwise, the dog continues to misbehave. How many times has he dealt with someone's dog who was going nuts on the walk? All that walking did nothing for the behavior, other than to make a tired, problem dog. The wrong behavior was still getting reinforced, in spite of or regardless of the walk. Hence, the call to the "dog whisperer".
That's why I will work on bits of training before, during, and after the walk. Which seems to violate his order.
