oh wow. What to say. Guard dogs, even personal protection dogs, aren't supposed to "bite and injure" people. Guard dogs guard by scaring the bad guys away by their appearance, alertness, and quickness to bark loudly. A determined bad guy with a gun will just shoot your dog and that will be that.
Police dogs are carefully trained to grab and hold suspects without injuring them too badly so the policement, carrying a gun, can catch the bad guy.
I don't think you should get any dog.

Besides, you think a dog can't actually kill a human being?

    Think again.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diane_Whipple

Diane Whipple, killed in her own apartment building by a neighbor's Presa Canarios. While deaths from dog maulings are relatively rare, they do happen and usually it's a large dog being handled by someone who doesn't know what they're doing.

If you simply want a visual deterent, a dog who's look says, "Stay away" there are many breeds of dog who are large and who look somewhat menacing, but who's temperaments are much more easy to deal with.

If someone with a gun wants to kill you on the street, it'd still only take 2 bullets - 1 for your dog, and then 1 for you.

a majority of dogs are not cut out to be an alpha dog. However, if the alpha role is lacking in their pack, they will assume that role. What you get is a dog that is trying to assume a position that it is not comfortable filling. This causes the dog to become very stressed and therefore causing a whole host of other behavioral problems. I would determine whether you have a dog with a true alpha temperament  or a dog that has behavioral problems that a person has wrongly interpreted as "alpha" mentality.

its not so bad but in my country , lebanon, not all things are in order and if you wanna hit somebody its better that u dont walk on the street all by ur own cuz he will have his revenge especially now in these political conditions

Unless you are a highly confident individual with excellent skills in reading/using canine body language and in dog training, you are going to wind up with a dog that is as dangerous to you and your family as it is to strangers.

As others have said, this is not a dog for beginners.  I sure hope you don't have any small children in your immediate family.

L.F.chester, please put Lebanon in your profile as your location.  That will help in two ways:
    (1)  People will know that English is a second language for you.
    (2)  Folks will not give you U.S. oriented information that is completely useless to you.

    Thanks.

I agree, Lebanon is a very unstable country, and there one has to deal with a lot of extreme situations, but I think you would be better off getting a gun, I just have the feeling that if somebody wanted to hurt you a dog would not stop that person.
