you would *not* then be able to rehome the aggressor - even Rott rescue groups don't take kindly to rehoming a dog that has killed another dog or sunk teeth into human flesh
fisher, I hope I made that point by my statement above, but in case I didn't, you are certainly correct that a dog without bite inhibition is a poor candidate for rehoming. I guess the other issue is, did they, at the point where the owner stuck her hand in there, even realize she was there? There's a reason why folks tell you to stop dog fights in other ways - pull back legs, throw chairs, use water, noise, objects placed between, etc. Some dogs are fine in a single pet home, but this OP would need serious help determining how to do that. IMO, the Dal would be the dog to rehome - she isn't safe where she is. A deaf dog can't read a warning growl, and if she's stealing from the other dogs, you may not always be able to prevent that. You may restrict bones, but what happens if someone drops crumbs or a piece of cheese?
