    my poodle is acting wierd

he is 7 years old and has spent 4 years with us, we also have a 7 year old husky....  lately he has shown an unusual interest in her.  she has been "fixed" since she was a puppy so its not that.  for the last week or so, he has been following her around, sniffing at her and frankly pestering her.  she has a boo boo on her wrist, called a "hot spot" but he seems to be sniffing her all over. he wont leave her side.  she doesnt appear sick in any way so we cant understand his sudden obssesive interest in her.  last night when i tried to get him to come to bed, he got really angry about being seperated from her. growling, etc. literally would not let me near him. now i'm worried. she doesnt seem to mind his attention all that much, but gets slightly annoyed with him now and then. both dogs have all thier shots and recieve advantex if that helps to understand.

i appreciate any help i can get.. their Doctor appointments arent for 2 weeks and im wondering if i need to take him sooner.

You might want to take *her* in sooner - I've heard that certain urinary or bladder infections can make a female smell like they are in heat and I'd trust a dog's nose to pick something up before I could. Even if it wasn't a bladder infection I'd want a full check up.

A UTI, or even too full anal glands, can really heighten interest in a dog. I agree. I'd take her in, to be checked out.
