Looking for some books to help with fear aggression

Ok I was looking for some books to deal with fear agression.  Guss is only aggressive towards certain people.  He is not dog aggressive.  I was looking into click to calm, but got the impression that it deals mostly with dog aggression.  He is a very nervous dog and I want some books that can help me with this.

It's a great book and the exercises can be used for all sorts of aggression and fear.  I'm using it on my fearful dog who has NO aggression, just extreme fear.  I've heard good things about Control Unleashed also, but haven't personally read it.   Good luck!

Sometimes its more about anxiety than aggression of the fearful dog.  I would suggest you have a full blood panel done to rule out Hypothyrodism that can sometimes leave dogs very anixious and therefore fearful.

As with all other fears, desensitization, a process of gradual systematic re-exposure to the fear-inducing stimulus, is the gold standard of treatment. This approach is usually carried out in conjunction with counterconditioning (training a different, more acceptable attitude and response and at each stage of the introduction process). Counterconditioning, which is usually accomplished using food treats in conjunction with a "relax" command.  Click to calm shows you these methods and can be used for any type of fear.

I just bought Control Unleashed and Click to Calm for Lily (who is always fearful and reactive to some people). I think that both books have already helped and I'm not even done reading them yet.
