Janis peeing on bed

• Janis peeing on bed kkharris Posted : 11/22/2006 12:55:09 AM Lately, my dog Janis has been urinating on our bed.  She's 1 1/2 years old, half beagle, half catahoula.  She only does it while my husband and I are out of the room, and she leaves a very large puddle.  She does this even after being let outside recently.  How do I stop this and why does she do it?  She seems healthy, so is it something just behavioral? When she gets let outside, does she actually pee? Ditto, great advice. In addition when could be medical related (which I highly suggest you check out). Even if she seems fine she could be trying to tell you something. Think about it, when you have a bladder infection you still feel ok, eat, sleep all that. She has no way of telling you if she feels icky so this could be it. As for behavorial I hear of this happening when the dog is stressed or their has been a recent change, typically when a second animal is aquired, DH has been away and comes home, or a new move.
