    Bedwetting (2)

I have a beautiful two year old Pomino.  She has been housetrained for quite some time, but she has this odd habit of peeing in her sleep.  She's always done it every now and again.  I used to think it was because she wasn't getting out enough, but that's not the case.  Sometimes she pees in her sleep only minutes after she has been out.  I can't punish her for it, she has no idea she's even doing it.  Any thoughts?

I've been hoping that someone more knowledgeable than myself would write because I don't really have any constructive advice but I believe this is a real issue for you.  I'm so sorry you are dealing with this.  Have you considered doggie diapers on her?  Perhaps a piddle pad?  I have a feeling tho that you ought to take her or talk to her vet and see if this is normal.  I know when our Dottie was little she would occasionally pee the bed but she did grow out of it.  At one point, I even put on a real baby diaper (her size - and should have gotten a pix).  That seemed to awaken her to her situation somehow and she was mortified to keep it on but did.  Good luck.

This really isn'y a terribly uncommon problem in female dogs. When my Dad's Visla started doing this, he went to the vet and they prescribed a daily medication that helped out immensely. Hayley hasn't had an accident in her sleep since!

I've been using HomeoPet Leaks No More, for my Jack Russell Terrier. It works amazingly well, and has no side effects. She cannot take most drugs, for any extended period of time, but has done very, very well with this homeopathic combination. I highly reccomend it.
