• lie-down George Grosman Posted : 9/25/2006 6:38:56 PM Hi: I have a one year old poodle/Aussie sheppard X. He's a wonderful dog, playful and easy to get along with (bad recall, though) He has this annoying habit of lying down every single time he sees another dog, even from more a hundred yards away. He will just lie there, waiting for the other dog to either pass or approach. I am sure this is a sign of submission because he will never jump the other dog and he really just wants to play. • fuzzy_dogs_mom Posted : 9/25/2006 7:14:33 PM Your dog and mine (also a shepherd X) must be twins.  Max has always done the same thing, but in the last year or he's sort of outgrown it.
