Hi:
I have a one year old poodle/Aussie sheppard X. He's a wonderful dog, playful and easy to get along with (bad recall, though) He has this annoying habit of lying down every single time he sees another dog, even from more a hundred yards away. He will just lie there, waiting for the other dog to either pass or approach. I am sure this is a sign of submission because he will never jump the other dog and he really just wants to play. Nevertheless, it's pretty annoying, especially when it's freezing outside and I'm standing there, shivering, waiting for his majesty to move his butt [

Any thoughts?
Thanks
