Captain Haggerty has passed away

This mountain of a man and spirit fought his way through a cancer that would have taken anyone else long ago. He succumbed to it finally this week. For anyone who has met or trained with this well-known and well-respected dog trainer, you will understand the impact. He was a mentor, a hero, and leader to many. If you never had the pleasure to train with him, you've probably all seen several of the dogs he trained in TV and movies. Thank you, Elizabeth. His memorial service was just short of 2 weeks ago, and from reports, it was incredible. Among his dozens of accomplishments, he was the co-founder of the IACP - Int'l Association of Canine Professionals, to which many of us refer folks who are looking for good trainers.
