• esteban ley Posted : 11/16/2006 10:52:50 AM Schutzhund is a dog sport, not a training method or philosophy. It was originally created to evaluate the working capabilities and breeding "worthiness" of GSDs, it includes three areas, obedience, tracking and protection. These days it's not exclusive to GSDs, many breed are trained to compete in this sport, Malinois, giant schnauzers (is that how it's spelled?), bouviers, and some others I think. I'm not sure if this still holds true, but in Germany once upon a time if you wanted to register a litter of GSD pups, both parents had to have a Schutzhund title. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
