Dog goes after city bus

• Dog goes after city bus nlboser2282 Posted : 11/15/2006 4:15:02 PM Our six month old puppy likes to try and chase city buses and UPS trucks when we are on our walks.  We always keep him on a leash when we take him outside but I'm afraid that if for some reason he got loose that he'd take off after one.   Lately I've been taking treats along with us on our walks and distracting him with them when a bus passes and that seems to be working.  If I keep doing that, will he eventually get the idea and not chase after them if I don't have treats?  Is there anything else that I should be doing to correct this behavior?  Thanks!
