Not really looking for advice, but just wanted to share something quite interesting my smart little Aussie girl did. She's pretty well housebroken at this point, at least she knows she's supposed to go outside, and not inside (I've never punished her for going inside, but I have interrupted her abruptly and got her outside).
Well after not having an accident for quite some time, I guess she really had to go, and since I still don't let her out of my sight since I don't trust her 100% yet, she "pretended" she was sitting but was really peeing! I know this is humanizing my dog, but it really honestly looked like that's what she was doing. She sat squarely on her bottom, and didn't have her legs out to the side like she normally does when peeing. Well, she looked to me like she was just sitting there, she wasn't hunched forward or had her bottom elevated, but when she kept turning her head and looking at her bottom while she was "sitting" there, I started to wonder. So I called her to me, and sure enough, there was a wet spot!
Strangest thing I've ever seen! She's always been a sneaky little thing and this just takes the cake!
