• Taking down the number of potty breaks... bichinpanda Posted : 4/9/2006 6:21:33 PM Dweezil had been doing fine with her housetraining for weeeeeeeks.  Then, when i stopped taking her out as frequently (every chance i got, and whenever she drank water, got up from a nap, etc) -- limiting by amount of time in between (2-4 hours instead of every twoish) ... she's been peeing randomly ... pooping in hidden spots...   ...what now... • spiritdogs Posted : 4/9/2006 6:33:38 PM Dweezil is probably just too young to have so much freedom.  Or, she may not be able to hold it as long as you think.  Keep up the schedule you had her on before if it was working, and have patience.  Some dogs take longer than others.  Don't scold, reward when she goes in the right place, and remember to associate the same phrase with it ("hurry up" or "go pee", etc.).  0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
