cleaning products for plastic and metal

If my puppy has gone 1 and 2 in his crate can I clean it with fantastic, or do I still need to use an enzyme cleaner.  The crate is plastic and metal.

    Thanks!

I use something like a Lysol or Mr. Clean (the antibacterial) for really big messes on nonporous surfaces, after I've hosed the crate down outside. I scrub with a soft brush, then I rinse really well with the hose again. Fantastic is ammonia based and may encourage your dog to go in the crate again, besides the fact that ammonia is terribly irritating in confined spaces.

I do the same thing. I hose it down if its a big mess, or wash it well in the bathtub or sink and then spray lysol on it, let it set for a few and wipe. Gotta kill those buggers! No germs for us! But yes, other cleaners may have ammonia in them and cause the pup to want to go potty there again! Dont want to encourage that! And for carpet etc of course Nature's Miracle all the way!

Sounds good.  I will not use the fantastic again.  I was not sure if it had ammonia because it did not say.

I also have used Natures Miracle, but right now I have PetZyme.  Has anyone heard of that? Do you find it affective.  It's much less expensive.

    Thanks!
