Was this to get my attention? Seems so wierd!

Ok, so you have all probably heard me talk about Beau on the forum. He is our 11 week old GSP. So he learned very early on to walk to the door if he needed to go potty! YEA! So we have had 1 accident here and there and for the most part only when I stopped to answer the phone, or turned away for a moment..>BAD MOMMY! :) So anyway, he was doing really well.

So tonight I had a friend over (my husband has been in GA all this time since we got him) and its the first time that Beau has had to share his mommy with another person. (we have two dogs, but they are a nonissue it seems). So I saw him walk towards the door and then come right back so I thought he was just wandering a bit as one of his toys was close to the door. Then I noticed he peed. Ok, so one accident, I didnt worry, too much. So I took him outside...we came back in and he pees on the carpet in front of us. Back outside again. Then before you know it, he pees on the carpet AGAIN.  HE NEVER DOES THIS!

Was he wanting attention? I am clueless. I mean, I know he is very young, but this seems odd after a few weeks of him going to the door to go outside almost always....

It could be, but it doesn't sound like it. Not to me at least.  I think it's just a case of him stopping too soon, before he got it all out.  Then once inside he remembered "Hey I gotta go."

I'm not sure what your situation is but I'd be tempted to leave him outside while I have company.  As I was reading your post I though...he's gonna pee in her friends' shoe!!!  That would be terrible.  However, I live in the country and have 2 large kennels outside that I could leave him in...obviously not everyone has that option.  Another option would be to keep him beside you on a leash while you have company then you can act quickly if he looks like he's going to have an "accident".  Good luck with your piddler...countrygal
