I have a 4 month old
uppy that is definitely showing signs of fear aggression toward other dogs. When he gets around unfamiliar dogs, he will bark, curl his lip, charge and try to bite them. Not good!
He is obviously scared because his tail is between his legs and his ears are back. I thought that part of it may be due to his size (he's only 10 pounds) and almost all dogs are bigger than him, but we started puppy school last night and he did that to all the puppies. He just started doing this the past couple of weeks and there hasn't been any incident where he got frightened that would have caused this behavior. He shows no signs of aggression towards
eople...he will happily go up to them wagging his tail, it's just unfamiliar dogs. Also, he does this both on and off the leash.
Since we got him, we've tried to socialize him a lot in order to prevent something like this. Our neighborhood has tons of dogs so he's been around a lot of dogs. I'm just so upset by this [&o]
