aggression in the family

• aggression in the family panaricanangel Posted : 5/10/2006 9:25:56 PM I have three Jack Russell Terriers, Shakespeare, Xena, and Princess.  Lately Princess has been pretty much attacking my other two dogs for no aparent reason.  It used to happen at night when they were trying to get their spots to sleep now its starting to happen as we let them out to go to the bathroom or just randomly.  Its now to the point that my father and I are afraid to come home and one of the dogs be hurt really bad or worse.  I am at a loss of what to do and I really dont want to have to isolate Princess from the other dogs all the time.  Some adivce would be great I dont want to have to get rid of my baby.   LIKE 3 REPLIES 433 VIEWS LAST POST JULIE BEVERIDGE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • panaricanangel Posted : 5/11/2006 9:12:32 AM Shake is 7 Xena is 6 and Princess is 5.  The females are the only ones not fixed as of yet. The last incident with Shakespeare and Princess ended up with him having a cut on back leg from where she bit him.  When she is fighting with Xena its rare that either of them come out with any marks other they just usually feel soreness I think because they lick where they hurt and when I check there is nothing in that spot.  Its mostly with Shakespeare that either have broken skin although every once in awhile Xena does get a bite in that does break skin.  I'm not sure if its Princess trying to show dominince or if she is jealous of the other dogs.  They used to get along wonderfully up until last week about. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • Julie Beveridge Posted : 5/11/2006 10:03:40 AM What changed a week ago? Did you change routines? Did someone new come into the house? Did you change your furniture around? Food?  Something happened.  What are the circumstances when they are aggressive with each other? When do they all get along? Is meal time good, but bed time bad? Are walks bad and bed time good?
