I have a bordercollie mix that likes to put your hand or whatever in his mouth when you are playing, petting etc. with him. What is the best way to stop this behavior?

"unnh uh, I'm not for chewing on....THIS (handing an appropriate object) is for chewing on. No other reaction, no yelling, no scolding, etc, just a matter of fact statement and a replacement.
