]Update on the labweimer: She went to her vet on friday. We just received her lab work up. The vet says that she has what seems to be hypothyroidism her levels were at .02. The Dr. said that we can give her some medication for that. On top of that she has what appears to be the start of Cushing's Disease and Kiddney Disease. I know all of this sound very bad but on a positive note her liver enzymes and very good. And the vet thinks that we caught thing early so she thinks that we will be able to help her. The only problem is that I have no idea what any of these things are and what we can do to help her. Let alone what we should expect in the near future.

Well, the good news is that, on proper medication, she may not have any more aggression episodes. Cushings is not an easy disease to deal with but some dogs do well on meds. Just hang in there and keep up with the labwork.
Glad to know she's been diagnosed and that, at least, you know the enemy.

I don't know anything about those illnesses, so I have no advice... But I am happy for you that you at least found what was probably the cause of the incident where your dog bit your friend and I am sure some who are knowledgeable on these issues will be along to help you out. Knowing what you are up against helps and it is a good thing that you caught it early!
