Welcome!!
First of all, sounds like Keyla needs more exercise. German Shepards are very active dogs that need something to do. Just a short walk on lead usually isn't enough to satisfy them, especially younger dogs. Do you know any other dogs you could set up an off-leash play time with?
As far as the excitability and peeing goes. My mom's dog does the same thing. It's called submissive urination. Anyone that comes through the door and reaches down to pet her when she is excited makes her pee. It made her (the dog) so upset about peeing in the house that she refused to come greet us at the door and would hide under the bed until she calmed herself down. What you can do is to ignore her and go about your normal routine when you get home. Don't say hi, don't even look down at her. Just keep your eyes up and go do something else. Check the mail, whatever...
This technique has worked great with Cali (mom's dog). As long as we remind visitors to the house to ignore her, she doesn't urinate. After a few minutes she calms down and then we can greet her. I've also noticed bending over her to pet her when she's excited can trigger it. Keep a calm voice, don't reach over her, and I suggest greeting her on a patio or tile area- cause she will still urinate occasionally and yelling at her for it is the worst thing.
Good luck with her!
