Not just sillies. How many "look aways" does your light colored dog have to do (with your other dog NOT taking the hint)? She's basically trapped and uncomfortable and your black dog is not hearing her when she's issuing her calming signals. Play is normal when there is lots of give and take and both dogs look like they're having a good time. Lots of curved body posturing, etc. I don't see that here. All I see is a stiffly wagging tail, look aways, and a dog that looks like she wishes her pal would just take a hike for a while. The Nordic dogs are noisy, but they aren't always engaging in "pleasant" conversation. JMHO.
This is normal play between two very good friends, Quanah (my hound) and Lojack (Boston Terrier): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InP_5-0NDjI
They self interrupt a lot, both go back to one another frequently, lots of curved body posture, play bows, soft facial expression. Noise is irrelevant even when it happens with the hound, even though in this video he's pretty quiet. He does have friends that he growly plays with, but the body language is the same. The Boston doesn't like to play with just any dog, so safe to say he feels quite safe with Quanah.
