I'm astonished -- man, we do NOT live our lives by a clock.

I don't live my life by a clock either.  Jamison follows his schedule pretty much whether I'm there or not.  If I'm late for his walk, then he walks later  . . . . but at least he does get a walk.

My last 3 dogs have had special needs - namely medicines - that were required on a set schedule, so that is pretty much what dictated the household routines.  Factored in has always been my work schedule, so it's a compromise of the two.  It's always worked for me and mine.

7-7:10am- potty walk

7:10-7:20am- fetch or some other interactive game

7:20-7:30- petting and quality time

7:30-8:00am- breakfast

8:00-9:00am- outside

9-12am- nap or just hang out

12-1pm- playtime or maybe a walk

1-5pm- naptime or just chilling

5-7:30pm- dinner, and a looonnng walk or very long playime

7:30-11:00pm- grooming, quality time, snuggling

11pm- potty

Bedtime!
