Trish King on Fear in Dogs

I disagree that dogs never ever recover from a trauma from when they were puppies. I hope that the lady who was petting the fearful dog in the video was doing it only for the video because that's the last thing you should do.

Interesting that this lady sometimes (as few as she does) recommends flooding

I've only watched the first two so far but I'm enjoying them very much.  Thanks to your friend and to you for sharing.  The best dog trainers always seem to have the gift of humor. :)

 I have her tapes on abandonment training and anxiety.  Very interesting.

 I'll have to check these out! Thanks for posting. I haven't seen any of her stuff before but heard John Rogerson descriobe abandonment training at a seminar of his I went to several years ago. I have used it with success for on-lead aggression issues in a couple cases.

WOW, thanks for sharing.  I learned quite a bit from them...more than I would by reading sites!!!  She seems like a really smart lady!
