What is it with Canidae that makes dogs poop so much? There is another member on here, I believe, who had the same problem!

I always thought that Chicken Soup For The Dog Lover's Soul was an excellent food for the price you pay, but I'm not sure what others on here think of it.

Hmmmm.....I'm really starting to wonder why now...

Canidae is a good (not uber excellent) food....so....what's the deal?

Natural Balance is sold at Petco. Zoe's poop is the smallest on this food than another other we've tried, and we've tried almost everything!

Perhaps the grains in Canidae?

I used to feed Chicken Soup until the big Diamond recall a few years back. I've been turned off on Diamond since then, but it's not a bad food.

Which Blue did you use? That might have been part of the problem. Mine do best on the large breed and the fish.

Maybe try the fish and sweet potato. Red bag. Or the large breed...my guys have great coats on either.

They re-formulated it some months ago and it no longer can be classified as "good".

My lab, Niko, also used to poop a lot when he was eating Canidae. I haven't gone back to Canidae since the formula change.

I have used it along with a couple others. My dogs have liked it, the veggies in it are weird to me.
