Need to find a good food

I do not think you have to worry one minute about od'ing them on the glucosamine, etc.  I am not saving give 50 capsuls a day, but i do give kayCee two capsuls every night even tho it is in her food, and i also give her half a scoop of Knox nutro Joint Plus.

Just so you know, if you are interested if you go to nutro's site, you can sign up for their frequent buyer program and get some coupons.  It is only like a couple dollars off, but every little bit helps. It has coupons for treats and wet food as well.  I feed nutro natural choice herring and potato. My dogs do really well on it.

The main reason that I've never considered Iams or Eukaneuba for our dogs or cats is the fact they are owned by Proctor and Gamble--which is the worst company ever for doing totally unnecessary animal testing on all their products (household, etc).  And they're proud of that fact and refuse to quit!!!

I have refused to purchase or use any Proctor & Gamble product--food, cleaning, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, etc--for years, and tell everyone I meet why and what good alternatives are. 

You really have to be careful and read labels--it is sometimes hidden.  And since the P & G brands are the most heavily advertised in the world--like the Iams--most people just automatically buy them.  Pantene, Oil of Olay, Tide, Cheer, Pringles,Mr. Clean Folgers, Charmin, Crest, etc.   Just a thought on helping all animals--not just our own!!!

Every time I see a commercial for Dawn dishwashing liquid and how P & G is helping to clean up oil-covered birds, I just shake my head.  At the same time that they're touting their laurels, they are torturing many other animals in their labs!!
