Need food choice for overweight Lab.

I also wanted to add that I recommend Wellness CORE Reduced Fat. If I had an overweight dog, that would definitely be my food of choice.

Parker had hip surgery when he was 2 yrs and when he is finished playing/walking whatever he will just sit and not move. ! Lab owners back me up on this one. When a stubborn Lab does not want to do something..they WON'T ! Maybe 20 minutes was a tad low I know when I take him swimming he can go a good 35 min. Its just straight walking he wont go after 20 min. This dog is the greatest and will do everything to please us. This is my first Lab and I never knew how much personality a dog could have until we got this boy! Everyones advice is so much appreciated and I got some good steps I can use from each of you. I will try and put up a pic (before/after) to Thank you all so much for the help.! Thanks again..David

I know exactly what you're talking about. When I worked at a grooming shop, almost every Golden and Lab that we groomed was passive aggressive by throwing their weight around, and yes STUBBORN is the right word. lol Even the aggressive dogs that had to be muzzled would eventually give in, but not the Labs and Goldens. It really wears you down too with such a strong dog when you're a fairly small person.
