I do think many times it is more about the name than the ingredients. It makes no difference how well SD works--and it worked for both of mine when they had to be on it--some will never admit it could be a good thing....becauase or the name, Hills Science Diet.

That isn't it at all- it's the ingredient list. When has anyone around here ever liked ANY food with ingredients like Science Diet?

I liked it just fine when it did what it needed to do for my dogs, and a few othes have stated the same thing. I can't very well call it Science Death when it took the weight of my KayCee (and she has not put it back on in all these years) and Buck's kidney problem was fixed. It is not what I want to feed my dogs--they didn't care for it much--but I will not put it down because it worked for them and for many others WHEN IT NEEDED TO.
