To illustrate my point about carbs, Eukanuba Premium Performance has 29% carbs and Cal Nat Chicken and Rice has 45.90 percent carbs
When I read this, it sounded all wrong and as it turns out, it is. It clearly states that the CALORIE DISTRIBUTION for carbs is 29%. That's WAY different than it BEING 29% carbs.
Here's the GA:
Caloric Distribution
Protein 27%...Fat 44%...Carbohydrate 29%

So, when you do the calculations, it's actually, like, 36% carbs.
Now, compare another performance food (apples to apples)
