You are right and this was brought up once before. I would not be sure i could trust any study, etc done buy a person/group/compnay that had a very good reason for wanting it to go one way or the other. Independint studys, research, is the only way things should be done.
And I HATE the "new and improved" ads. Some of the products must have been down right horrible to begin with as they have been "new and improved" so many tmes in the 51 years I have been watching TV (didn't get until I was 10.
I think every dog food company is going to promote it's food as the best, the healthties, the best tasting, etc. But then each laundry soap does the same thing, each shampoo does the same thing, each bath soap does it. I can use any bath soap (I like oil of Lay body wash), but there are several that break hubby out and there are only a couple he can use and not itch. So what works for me doesn't work for him at all. Alas, we are a two soap family! Oh, I also h ave to use an unscented laundry detergent with no bleach in it --and liauie--for his his clothes and the resdue from powder, the scent (what ever is used) and bleach also makes him itch. None bother me.
