Nature's Logic analysis (for those who requested)

I must admitt I am very impressed with their prompt customer service.  I emailed them my inquiry regarding the complete nutrient analysis and he emailed me back minutes later (seriously).  At first he accidentally sent me the canned analysis (so if you want that one too just PM me), so I sent another email back requesting the right one and he sent it immediately back.  WOW!

Anyways, he informed me that they made some adjustments and after they did so (and the feeding trial they performed) it is how substantiated by the AAFCO as appropriate for all life stages.  It looks like a great food and I am having some dry lamb formula samples sent to my house to try for Wolfie.

I apologize for the "weird" copy/paste job, but it was sent as an excel document and since I suck at computer-stuff, I just opened it as a webpage and posted it [:)]

Thanks for the info. if you would be good enough to PM the analysis of their canned food, it would be much appreciated.
I have been feeding  NL dry and canned for about 4 months and have had good results. I have also emailed Scott Freeman and have always gotten a prompt reply  that answered my questions. I think that NL is an excellent company.
That being said, I couldn't resist trying out Orijen and expect  (2)   5.5lb bags tomorrow. If all goes well, I will rotate between NL and Orijen.

I'd like to see the canned analysis too!

Thank you for posting this! I'd also like to see the canned analysis, but if you don't get a minute to post it, no biggy.

I got my samples today. I'm also quite impressed with them. I asked for samples, got a reply in a couple hours, and got my samples three days later. Cherokee LOVES it. I'm definitely buying a bag. Hopefully they get into a local store soon though, because shipping is sooo expensive. It'll be like $23 in shipping for a 26 pound bag to here, through Pet Food Direct. I have a 20% coupon, but that only cuts like seven bucks... [&:]

I got my samples today too. I'm crossing my fingers that the lamb formula will work for Gingerbread...

I haven't recieved mine yet, but I'm not getting my hopes up....usually foods that look perfect on paper either give Wolfie GI upset or he won't eat to them to save his life, lol.   I'm hoping it will work though!

Thank you for posting this information.  I had been thinking of trying this food, and I'm glad to know that it works for all life stages.  It does look too high in calcium for puppies though.

I would love to see the canned food analysis too, if you don't mind.

Joey loves their canned food.  I've heard from my clients that the canned is selling better than the dry.  A few of my clients that carry this food are recommending it to customers with fussy eaters now.

I just wanted to tell anyone who lives on the West Coast, or somewhere else where shipping costs from PFD are outrageous, to buy from PFD through Amazon. I just checked the same 26 pound bag of Nature's Logic through them, and shipping's only $10 to here. You can't use PFD coupons, but even without them, this still comes out cheaper for me than buying from petfooddirect.com. Just thought I'd share. [:)]

Luckily there's a Pet Supplies Plus near me that carries it.

When I e-mailed them for samples, they said "It will be in stores in your area soon." I don't know if that was generic "we'll be everywhere soon", or if based on my address he was actually saying they were working on getting it here. Hopefully the latter. [:)]

So I got the samples today and gave him 1/4 cup of the NL lamb and a little less than a 1/4 cup of his old food.  So far he ate it all happily....hopfully it will last.  If he continues to like it and do well, I may see how it goes and get a bag of the lamb (especially since they sent a coupon [8D] I'm so cheap, lol).....I'm hoping it's not one of those foods that looks perfect on paper but doesn't yield good results. *crossed fingers*

Good luck! I hope it works for Wolfie. I also got Lamb samples for Gingerbread. So far he's eaten it twice and seems a little more itchy, so I'm not sure it's going to work for him. Ah well...

I noticed results I wasn't expecting 2 weeks after feeding Nature's Logic.  I certainly didn't expect the cloudiness in his eyes to disappear.  Infact, I didn't realize he had cloudy eyes until I looked at him and realized how clear his eyes looked.  Even my husband mentioned that his eyes looked "younger" without my provocation.  I also noticed that his muscle mass improved, which I honestly didn't think needed improvement.  And it's the only food that he doesn't have slimy stools or is constipated on.  I was feeding him EP Holistic Lamb before this and I really was thinking that NL was just "another natural food."  I recieved my first bag free.  I'm really convinced that NL is great.

Well, it didn't work for Gingerbread. [:(] Last night he got EXTREMELY itchy. He was scratching like crazy all night. This morning I noticed that he has red raised bumps on his chin, lips, and eyebrows. He scratched his ears scabby, and the underside of his tail is red. Poor guy. [X(] He really is extremely allergic to brewer's yeast. At least I know now to avoid it like the plague. Such a shame because I love all of the other ingredients in Nature's Logic.
