It is really offensive to me to hear someone say that retailers (and I'll paraphrase), don't care about the details of a food, but only slap it on the shelf and sell it.
AS a retailer, I did alot of research before we decided which foods to carry in our business. TWO was on the top of my list of foods at the time, BUT the customer service issue alone was enough to turn me off it. Eagle Pack, OTOH, is a different ballgame. I have nothing but praise for the company, the customer service, and the product. They don't do "feeding trials" per se, but use real pets in real homes in real situations to see what works. They own their own manufacturing facilities, so they can control every aspect of their product.
Any company that would "use up old bags" by filling them with a product that is not intended for THAT bag, is NOT to be trusted, IMO. I don't think it's a fair statement to make to compare "fear-mongering" with genuine concern. I have said before, "A product is only as good as the company's customer service". If they are willing to cut corners to save a few dollars with packaging and what not, how can we be sure that they are not cutting corners on the products they are producing?
Sorry for my next statement (and hope I don't get my hands slapped for it), MyOP, you seem to have the same affinity for customer service as TWO with the attitude of not wanting to answer questions. You are suppose to be a representative for the company of the products you sell, but the "head in the sand" routine isn't working for TWO and doubt that it will work for you.
