Mine's like yours - he LOVES all food (and in some cases non-food).  NB sent me some samples and I would be hard pressed to say which was his favorite.  He seemed to think they were all extra scrumptious.
To date the only thing he has rejected was a piece of raw yellow pepper.

The only kibble he wasn't overly excited by was EP lge breed pup - which turned out to have egg in it which he is allergic to and causes severe hives and what appears to be some throat issues so that might have been the problem.

Xeph- I had JJ on the venison and brown rice VERY breifly.  I suspected he was having problems with chicken. . .turns out it was rice and he was a WRECK after the 3rd meal! [:o]

I don't recall what the NB smelled like but I can tell you that I have fed several of the NB canned foods and JJ is not picky at all. . . but he would hardly eat it. ESPECIALLY the duck one. To me it smelled kinda bland like the prescription diets your vet gives you sometimes when your dog is have intestinal problems.   Maybe the duck one just doesn't have enough taste for his liking??  I think the venison might be a better option.

Xeph... oh yes you surely CAN return it. Natural Balance has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Just return it to where you bought it. You may also want to call CS and talk to Jennifer. She's really great. You MAY have just gotten a bad bag of food. That happened to me... TWICE, hence the reason I stopped feeding it. It was rancid because air got into the bag from handling. Even a PINHOLE in those paper bags can let in enough air to spoil the food. Unless that food smells good enough for YOU to eat, it may be bad.  I was sent a brand new bag immediately by UPS and when I opened it up and smelled how fresh and delicious it was I KNEW right away I had  bought a terribly rancid bag of food that I'd returned to Petco. My dogs wouldn't touch it until I got the new fresh bag which they absolutely gobbled up.
