Why is Beneful Bad?

Nail on the head again!  If you were feeding yourself caviar, lobster tails and champagne every meal while Lizzie ate scraps from the street, I woudl say SHAME ON YOU.  But that is far, far from the case.  As for my dogs--most dogs I would think--they would have rather love and attention than high dollar food. I am not saying anyone here does not give their dog/dogs lots of love an attention as i am sure everyone does or they wouldn't care enough to be here.
 
We could not afford to spend an extra zillion dollars to have food shipped to us and I bet that are lots here who couldn't either.  . I cut corners where ever i can, but my dogs always get to the vet if they so much as sneeze 3 times in a row.  They get their heartworm pills on the 1st of ech month, I treat them with Frontline for fleas and ticks, Buck gets his thyroid meds every day.  What good would it do to pay high dollar for having food shipped if that left no money for vet, heart worm meds, etc, etc.
 
As far as I am concerned, anyone doing the best they can, well that is all anyone should ask of them, or expect of them.. 

Back in the day, when I tried Eevee on Beneful, my boyfriend became highly allergic to her all of a sudden. I switched foods, and after a few weeks things went back to normal... >O.o<

Then send your extra 100 dollars to Lizziecollie.
 

I realise when someones on 5 bucks an hour paying $100 for a food on top of the normal price would prove impossible.Personally if i was in that situation i would go the homemade or raw route,like i said before.
 I know people in the UK who import their dogs food from the US,so people do do it.But obviously cant be compared to the circumstances in PR.Lizzie i dont think you're a bad owner for not importing your dogs food,if you could easily afford it,but chose not to do it,then that would be a different story,but you cant pull this kind of money out of your butt every month(i'm assuming it would be an extra $100 per month,not per week,right?),and it is alot of money,and it does make me so angry that they feel the need to charge that much [:@]
Ron asked if anyone would be willing to add 50-100 on top of their dogs food,i said yes i would because i can,and i dont live in PR and on min wage. I go without alot so my dogs can get the best,so for me it wouldnt be that big a deal.

And I, like you, Edie, put my dog above myself. I understand and agree with you that we should do what we can for our pets as best as possible.
