Lots of TOTW, I see, sounds like lots of good results, too.

I just got a 30lb bag of TOTW pacific stream formula for a very good price and started mixing it with his Orijen and have had no transition period.  We've used it in the past but its been a while. Its lower in kcals than the orijen so I have to feed more which stinks but at the price I got that bag I could care less LOL

Z gets THK Keen or Preference exclusively.  It seems to have completely solved her incontinence issues! Big Smile

Kes gets Kirkland Adult dry dog food for breakfast and THK Keen or Preference for dinner.

The new girl currently eats raw - I think she'll be transitioned to THK Thrive or Embark with the occasional raw meat meal and perhaps kibble if she needs extra bulk. Smile

I just saw in Petco yesterday Natural Balance has a whole new grain free selection.

Yes, and so does Nutro, surprisingly

What do you guys think of the Kirkland food? I think I saw Erin was the only one feeding it?

I've heard very positive things about the Kirkland (Costco) foods - they have some higher end formulas in some locations too - mine only has the lamb and the chicken based

I love Orijen, this is going to sound weird, but I love how it looks. LOL Like little chocolate chips, well flat choco chips :)  But, Nik will not eat it.  She loves the Evangers.  And, like you.... at the price I get it at, it's hard to resist!!

I may have to try TOTW sometime, though.

TOTW looks like little chocolate, flat chip things too. Very dark looking food - dogs seem to like it! Too soon to tell how it's working for them though

Earthborn is quickly becoming my new fav food. The dogs are doing great on it and I can switch between "flavors" cold turkey with no issues at all, which is important for absent minded me. Plus there are coupons galore out there! I usually rotate brands and so forth but I might just stick with this one for a while

Update:  I've been feeding a natural diet completely from scrach but, I think I'll continue a meal of ground RMBs for the girls but go back to THK's Keen, Embark or Thrive with a dollop of plain full fat yogurt.

I wont' have to mess with grinding veggies, cooking grains or adding so many supplements, etc.  Homeschooling and such takes up enough time to have to worry about making dog food (other than grinding RMBs, no biggie there).

And now most recently, Echo cannot digest the Keen very well at all, so she's on Evo Herring and Salmon at the moment, half kibble, half raw. Finally, normal poops instead of huge, smelly cowpies.

They've actually had a grain free food for quite awhile (Potato and Duck was around when Mick was alive).  I've been rotating through some of their LID line with Caleb for 3 years now.

    100% Raw diet here.

One meal of boneless in the AM and a bone in meal in the PM

    My dogs are thriving! :D

After all the years of "pushing" Eagle Pack....Gibby is eating Natural Choice Venison and Brown Rice Formula. Its limited ingredient food...and he is doing better on it than anything he has eaten yet. I hated the fact that it was made by a company that I didn't like and that was before P & G bought them out..... BUT he was eating TOTW Venison and thats made by Diamond...not a lot better company in my eyes. About the third month on it...he started drinking so much water after he ate that he was throwing his food back up...so I had to get him off of it.

After a week of kibble plus raw, I decided it wasnt' worth it, and back onto full natural diet.

Evening meal: RMBs/organs,  Mornng meal 50% meat, the rest a mix of ground veggies, a bit of grains and some yogurt.

I have a good system worked out so it's pretty easy.

This last dog food run, we were out of food and the feed store was closed. So, gave Nutrisca a try at Petco. Met approval with all dogs..no stomach issues (even with Ginger, who has a sensitive digestive system on a good day), everyone still has good coats, no skin issues, etc. And even Aesop (who did at first give us a skeptical look when he found new food in his bowl) found it tasty
