    Forti-Flora-Anyone familiar with it?

Willow had a little flare up and they gave her this today along with some other meds.  It seems like I've heard the name before but cannot really remember much about it.

Does anyone use it and what were your results?

    Thanks!

    Lori

It's the probiotic Purina makes, right? We use it for the cats at the shelter, every day. It works pretty well, and they are under a LOT of stress!

Our vet reccomends it when the l-lysine isn't enough for the kitties. I've had a few kittens and such on it with no ill affects

Used it and it is GOOD STUFF.  Even *if* Purina makes it.  It stirs right in their food -- it's a powder.  It is one of my first choices for a dog probiotic.

We keep it on hand, & use it when we have stomach flare ups.  It does a great job of leveling everything back out.

We used it with good results for Aesop. However, finding things to mix it in for him (he wouldn't eat it just sprinkled on the food) was a challenge. So he's currently having his probiotic in pill form.  That issue aside (which is an Aesop issue, not a product one :p) we were quite pleased

Oh, thanks everyone.  I thought I had heard positive things about this product but wasn't sure.  She is very comfortable tonight after two doses of antibiotics and the Forti-Flora, plus extremely bland diet.  I'm hoping we can both get some sleep tonight.  It's been a rough couple of nights with her.  I think I've slept maybe seven hours in 2 nights.  Thankfully, I'm off now until Tuesday so I'll catch up.

    Thank you!
