    Calcium source for homecook food

I'm preparing a bigger than normal batch of food and realized I'm just a tad short on the amount of ground eggshell I need.  Just a half tablespoon in this case, so I'm not really worried.....but it got me thinking.

In a pinch, can I use the calcium supplement I take ?

Serving size is 2 tablets.  500 mg calcium citrate, 800 I.U of vitamin D3, 10 mg vitamin B6, 80mg magnesium, 10 mg zinc, 1 mg copper, 1 mg manganese and 1 mg boron.

    Baily is 60 lbs.

I don't eat as many eggs as I used to so I can see myself needing to purchase a calcium source in the future.  I know Monica Segal has one on her site..........

    Thanks Smile

NOW Brand has a good calcium, and I use one called "Natural Calcium" -- mostly loose that you measure 1 teas per 8 oz meat.
