Anyone do weight pull (video)

Thanks so much! Good info, I WILL be getting a larger harness for him then from one of the listed harness suppliers. I'm sure it being tight doesn't help him hating it so much. I'm glad I put up photos before I started working with him in it.

If you don't want to compete, and you are in to mentoring kids, have a go at Sue Sternberg's "Lug Nuts" program - she teaches inner city kids to do weight pull using just inexpensive harnesses, plastic sleds, and bags of dog food as the weight, which can be distributed later.  She thinks it keeps the kids from fighting their Pits (after all, you can bet on a pull just as easily as you can bet on a fight).  I hope that those of you in the sport will think about asking your clubs to give back by getting involved in this if you are in an area where dogs are being used for fighting.  Just one way we can help put an end to that...

It appears that the harness is a bit too short for him. About 4 inches. It looks like a good weight pulling harness, but probably isn't much fun because it is short. If it was longer he could move around better. Then the thing to do would be to just let him walk, run around having fun.
