Great Dane Lady/Eagle Pack

    • Gold Top Dog

Could you refresh my memory? Is nzymes the supp package she suggested for her feeding protocol, especially for GD's? It seems like I remember it that way.

Nzymes are antioxidants and she does recommend them in all of her feeding programs.

I totally agree.  If you are using Eagle Pack, and it is working well for you, why switch?  We have 4 Great Danes, a Chinese Crested, and a Parson Russell Terrier that are all on Eagle Pack foods, different varieties.  We have used EP for years and all of our dogs have fantastic coats and are in top condition.  I certainly wouldn't switch because the Great Dane Lady isn't endorsing it anymore.  I do not know whether or not she has a vested economic interest in another company, but I do know the reason she left EP is because of differences in personal opinions with the new Eagle/WellPet administration.

Yes, but only in Rally, at the moment. Both girls are spayed. They came from unfortunate circumstancesWink I did show Ena (the Crested) in conformation, a few times, just for the experience.  Emma just earned her RAE, and Ena got her RA with a PERFECT score!

Congrats on the Rally titles!  Fantastic!  I tried that briefly with one of my older danes but she decided that the sitting and having to get back up was just too much work.  LOL  I'd like to try it with the 2 little dogs...I bet they'd be great at it!

They are really great at it, and the fun part is that so few of those breeds do it, you rankBig Smile Emma was the #11 PRT last year, in Rally, and she had to take several months off to get her seizures under control.

Later this year, hopefully, Ena is going to make her obedience debut. Still have some work to do on her stands, and a smidge on the stays. As long as she doesn't get intimidated, she does fine, but she needs more confidence. Her heeling will take your breath away, it's so beautiful.

Your dogs are very beautiful!  I love Digger's scruffy beard!

Glad you figured it out.....thanks for sharing the great photos.

    Hello,
We read with interest your post regarding dog food  and proper nutrition.

As a member of the  Bil-Jac communications team, we recognize that there is a considerable amount  of conflicting information on the web regarding proper nutrition. Can I put  you in touch with a member of the Bil-Jac animal nutrition team? Dr. Bingham,  an animal nutritionist, frequently shares science-based information on this  topic. If you’re interested, I can share a post, an interview or even an  article covering this topic.

Please let me know how I can best assist.  Feel free to email me (biljac@RMDadvertising.com) and I’ll help you get the  information you need.
    Thank you!

Before getting Gibby off BilJac frozen,  I had emailed a couple of times about a couple ingredients in the frozen line. My answer was that I can call to talk to the nutritionist.  To me that is not an answer.
