Is my club really the only one that does this?? LOL! I've had the same reaction on another forum I post to.
It helps build distance between the handler and dog as well helps with footwork. And the public enjoys the races when we hold public events with the horse club.
The basis is there are numerous teams made up of one dog and one horse (run at different times) and the team with the fast time combined wins. It's lots of fun.
