Opinions on 'Taste of the Wild' brand kibble?

 Went through 11 bags of pacific stream, thought it was a wonderful food. I just like to switch up foods every 10 or so bags. My dogs did great on it, good ingredients. No complaints here. Coats are great, good poop!

 The same store that suggested Taste of the Wild to my wife suggested Orijin to me.  Between these two, which is better?

Which is better? The one that works for your dog.

I use a rotation of Taste of the Wild pacific salmon, and purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach. Both did wonders for my dogs allergies. The prices are decent as well. Not to mention TOTW does offer a program of buying 10 bags get one free or discounted.

I've never bought orijin because i'm feeding 3 dogs, 2 over 90 lbs, and it's pretty pricy. I would try out one, see how it works after a few months and if you don't like it try the other.

 I replied to this on the other thread. But I agree that it's really up to your dogs the most. Mine did fine on TOTW for a while, then not, and are doing fine on Orijen now.

Two of my crew have been eating TOTW for quite some time (the duck formula) and have done very well. Aesop gets gross poos on grain free foods, so no longer eats TOTW, but Jules and Grimm both eat it and look great. Aesop looked great on it, just had gross poos, so we switched him to a food with grains and his stomach straightened up. (he has had this issues on several grain frees we've tried, not just TOTW)

The one that's best is the one your dog does best on; however, I wouldn't permanently stick to only ONE brand of food indefinitely. It is good - if your dog has no allergies/medical conditions - to rotate between brands every so often. OR, feed a dry food for several meals of the week, fresh or variety foods the other meals; i.e. premade raw food, canned food, etc.

Again, I like Orijen personally due to overall better quality.

Taste of the Wild is a regular part of my dogs' food rotation -- they eat the fish, duck & red meat versions without any problem.  We've never had a bad reaction of any kind to this food and they look great.

I was going to try Orijen, but the cost was far too prohibitive for me.  Maybe if I only had one or two small dogs...
