Doing a food trial (jennie_c_d)

No, she's always had an issue with digesting kibble. I figure, the Z/D is already digested, I guess.... I do dampen it with warm water, to keep her from choking on it (she's an inhaler), but she gets dry kibble, too, from her treat jars. No funky stools, at all. I'm going to go ahead and guess that the digestion issue was an intolerance issue more than a "kibble" issue.

And now I really wonder WHAT she was so allergic to!

If you go to many dog shows, you'll see people pulling  all manner of food from their cheeks in conformation, and spitting stuff near the obedience rings. It's a little disturbing, at first.

HAHAHA, like little chipmunks! I understand the why of it, it just cracks me up. Oh, what we do for our dogs.

I wish you both luck and patience figuring out her food allergies. On our first visit to the derm vet, she wanted me to put Jessie on an elimination diet and I said I had read that food allergies in dogs were rare;  figures Jessie would have food allergies up the wazoo.Sad   I guess the first thing for you to look for would be an ingredient that was in her cooked diet and the other foods you tried that she didn't do well on. They can be allergic to some of the supplements in the food too; Jessie's allergic to brewer's yeast.
