I loooooooove Canine Caviar! I only feed the venison, and I have to mail order it. I hadn't even noticed it has coconut oil in it. I've just joined the coconut oil craze and have started using it for all my cooking because of the claimed health benefits.

Sometimes you see the title of a post and you think you know what it's gonna be about. I was wrong. I saw the title and said, hmmm, I bet this is about rabbit poop!

 I think CC Split Pea and Venison is one of the best foods out there as far as the GA goes. My dogs LOVE it but unfortunately the store where I used to purchase it stopped carrying it :(  I don't care for any of the other CC formulas though.  The only complaint I had about this food was that because of the low moisture it tends to disintegrate quite rapidly and before you know it you've got 2" of crumbs in the bag that you have to sift through to find any whole kibbles. For the price they charge....$25 for 9 lbs...it became a bit expensive to have to throw that much food out because the dogs wouldn't eat the crumbs.
