I have a few questions pertaining to showing in 4-H if anyone here has been involved in it. I've never even been involved in anything 4-H but my FFA chapter is competing in their fair this year and I'm VERY interested in showing in obedience and/or agility (not sure if this fair has agility).
- Are the rules different in different states/areas? I cannot seem to find any rules or list of exercises done anywhere, so if anyone knows of one it'd be greatly appreciated.
- The list of classes I can enter are: Pre-Novice 1st year on lead, Pre-Novice 2nd year on lead, Novice offlead, and Graduate Novice (not sure if these are what they're typically called). The packet I read didn't say that I had to enter in Pre-Novice (it barely had any information on it) and honestly I'd prefer to just skip to the offlead class because that's my dog's current skill level. Do I have to enter in a Pre-Novice class?
Thanks!
