In her OB class we work on flatwork and easy equipment such as beginners weaves, tunnels and table. Well on our way to class last night, Andrea (my trainer whom I get a ride with lol) noticed we had an hour to kill before we were due at the barn. We went to the field to let Sandy run around and burn off some steam so she would be managable during class. So as Sandy's running around, she showed an interest in the Aframe. And with Innova cookie crumbs we got her up and over the Aframe! Slowly of course and at her speed so she was comfortable with it. She loved it! I couldn't get her off the Aframe to get her back in the car. Lol! Also she showed interest in the dog walk but we didn't work it yet. Just clicked and gave her cookies for going near the dogwalk.
At class, Sandy is used as a demo dog so really we're there now just to socialize and proof her commands but today Andrea threw something new into the class just for Sandy. A table. Now all the other dogs have been doing a table but they won't sit or down on it (which is understandable.) But what Andrea did for us was add a set of 4 weaves and then directly run and sit on the table with no breaks.. Wouldn't you know, she did first try! Slid so fast on the table she almost fell off! Lol. Thankfully thou it's flat against the ground so no worries with her falling off the table. We also did a tunnel, go around and back through the tunnel. First time we've added more then one piece of equipment.
I'm so proud of my little terrier.. And hopefully next Tuesday I'll have some brags on Maze in her class. Lol
