    Honor's First Rally Trial, Good Thoughts, Please?

    So, Honor and I have our first Rally Obedience trial this Saturday morning.  To say that I am nervous would be a gross understatement!  But we've been practicing hard, and I'll admit to hoping for a Q, but I really just want us to have a good time.  I figure it will be a good experience, getting out the ring-nerves, and seeing how both of us do in a new setting. 

    Wish us luck!  If anyone has experiences to share or any suggestions on ways to make it go smoothly, I'd love to hear them.  And if anyone has good thoughts to spare, I'd GREATLY appreciate it. Big Smile

    My only advice is Q or NQ make sure Honor thinks it was the most fun EVER!  ... and if YOU have fun, too... well, homerun! :)

    HAVE FUN! and GOOD LUCK!  Can't wait to hear all about it!

    I don't have any words of advice for you, though, because the one time I decided to enter the Rally class at a fun match I was completely lost.  Luke got second place in obedience because, well, that's just basic stuff and they tell you what to do.  I'd never seen a rally course before and I had no idea what those silly little signs meant.  lol  It made it obvious that agility was where we were supposed to be....

    Try not to stress out too much and just go into it with a fun & positive attitude.  Win or lose, there will always be another opportunity to try again.  The more you get into the ring, the easier it gets.  Just think of this as good practice for Honor's future agility career!

    Can't wait to hear how it went!
