I finally got an answer as to why my post was "Banned" Here is what they said:
Bones are bad for your Westie
I hear you saying that all dogs love a good bone, well nobody is saying
they don't, but that does not mean they are good for them. Sadly every year
countless numbers of dogs end up in the emergency room from being given
bones by their guardians.
Usually as a treat ! (Don't kill your dog with a bone treat)
The fact is that dogs are omnivores, not carnivores and most dogs cannot
tolerate bones. They can splinter or lodge in the intestinal tract with
disastrous results, usually requiring surgery.
They can also get stuck in their mouth or throat, which is just as
dangerous. All bones are bad, including pork, chicken and beef. The next
time you feel the urge to give your dog a bone, just make sure it's a nylabone.
History lesson
We are told that the dogs ancestors hunted for food, killed, eat raw meat
and bones. What records don't show is how many became ill? how many died ?

Sadly many Westie guardians have contacted me about bones, a large number
have reported fatalities.

are irresponsible people who promote feeding a raw food diet, again
these miss-informed people will justify this type of feeding be
referring to the dogs assessors, usually quoting the wolf at eating raw
food.
History does not tell us how many dogs were made ill, or died of food poisoning
Fresh raw meat contains bacteria, when you cook it, the bacteria is killed
Visitors to this site (Heart Broken) continue to tell me their Westie died after being fed raw meat.
While your in this forum, do not promote the use of raw meat, if you
post a message saying you feed raw meat, this is a promotional post,
you will be banned immediately.
I'm not going to try to change their minds.
