    Evo 95% meat

I've finally found a food that I can feed Zack when I can't give him raw (like when we're traveling) that doesn't cause gas or diarrhea.  Yay!!  Does anyone else feed this?  We tried the vension formula.

Bugsy had his first can this week we tried rabbit - he loved it and had no issues

I'll feed it as a special treat as we do raw and kibble normally

I also feed primarily raw, but do like to use canned or freeze-dried when we travel.  At first, when I tried the EVO 95% meat, we had some stool issues ( I think because it is considerably higher in fat), but have no problems with it now.  He looooves the beef flavor best, but I can feed, and have fed, all formulas with success.

Well, I take that back.  He was burping up what I assume is stomach acid all night.  Too bad, because poops were perfect on this food.  Back to the drawing board!

It may take him a bit to get used to the food since it's alot richer then other foods out there. When Maze was on it, she had the burps and runny stools for the first few days but after that it was smooth sailing! Then she developed allergies to chicken. *sigh* Lol

Try canned tripe, seriously... Using canned tripe is the ONLY way I can get Emma to eat anything but raw and do ok. She'll eat anything you put in front of her, but the exploding behind and belly keep it from being conducive to travel (and I show her... usually we just do raw, but sometimes, I need to do canned and tripette or solid gold tripe work fine... they come in small cans).

I use just a little of the canned mixed with Casey's dry kibble (Blue Buffalo). I don't think I'm using enough to say good/bad - but I'm not complaining either! Casey loves it, the cats love it (yea, bad kitties, they steal his food). He did get a little diarrhea after trying the 95% duck, but I can't attribute that soley to the food, he was fine for the rest of the can.
