I was just having a conversation w/ someone in the pet food industry who mentioned to me that Eagle Pack just bought out Nature's Variety and is going to be putting the food into the Greenwise section of Publix supermarkets. Anyone else heard anything about this ???

I have not heard of any buyout of Nature's Variety.
Catterton Partners, who own Eagle Pack, recently purchased Wellness Pet Foods---perhaps this is the buyout you may have heard about.

I hope that's the case. I'd hate for NV to go to EP. Wellness is more in their league IMO.
