I got my Agile Gear Qualifiers from CleanRun today and I think we have a winner! I did order a half-size larger than I usually wear and they are nice and roomy, yet still feel stable. I'm looking forward to trying them out -- not sure if I should wear them on our mats at class tonight or save them for our outdoor trial this weekend!
I actually bought a pair of the Agile Gear Turf Biters from CR several months ago (Aug 2007) and I too had to go 1/2 larger, something that I don't typically do, but they must run a tad small. I have to say I was pretty disappointed in them. They are super comfy but they didn't last AT ALL.
I never wore them in the rain, always on dry grass or dirt or inside. Sometimes the grass was dewy but never rainy or muddy. (I have merrell trail running shoes with gortex for wet weather) Anyway about 2 weekends ago I noticed the rubber toe portion started to peel away from the shoe. Well by the end of the weekend they were pretty much shot. I have to honestly say I never wear shoes out, I have some nike running shoes that are 7 years old that I use around the house that are in better condition than my Agile Gear shoes. Needless to say I ordered a new pair of trial running shoes but I did not go to CR, I bought a new pair of merrells. I hope you have better luck than I did!!
